Perigen was a non-narcotic painkiller that could be applied in patch form[1] and via an epidural. Members of the Pui-ui species had a fatal allergy to perigen.[2] Luke Skywalker used a perigen patch aboard the Eye of Palpatine to lessen the pain of his injured leg.[1]
