The Penhalla Contention was a regional-scale conflict[3] that took place at some point between 19 BBY and 0 BBY[1] in the vicinity of the Penhalla system of the Outer Rim Territories' Klina sector[2] and saw the participation of Cassio Tagge as part of the Imperial Army of the Galactic Empire.[3]

The Penhalla Contention was mentioned in "The Death Star Coup," an article authored by Jason Fry and published as part of the A Certain Point of View department in the 2014 Special Edition of the Star Wars Insider magazine.[3] The issue was published on November 5, 2013.[4]
