A patrol squadron was a small formation of the Imperial Navy. A patrol squadron under the command of Firmus Piett operated in the Outer Rim Territories during the Galactic Civil War. Piett's patrol squadron had an impressive record of arrests and suppressions, making the sector one of the most secure in the Outer Rim.[1]
