Parawing

Parawings were an invention from the Tech Section of Imperial Intelligence. They were based on racing wings used by garbage pit racers. It was thought they could be used by TIE pilots when they had to eject in a planetary atmosphere. They folded up against the spine of the wearer and could be deployed at the press of a button.

Jahan Cross took a set of parawings from Royd Pew before his mission to the Corporate Sector.[2] Cross later used them to escape from a collision with a mag-lev train.[3]
