Ojo's paper sculptures
Paper-folding was the process of folding paper into decorative or representational forms. The Delta-class T-3c shuttle owed its distinctive silhouette to Design Lead Lamilla Tion's fascination with paper-folding.[1] While detained in a Black Sun base, the Nautolan Ojo practiced paper-folding in his cell.[2]
Behind the scenes
Comic artist Ruairí Coleman included paper-folded figures in "The Second Chance" as a reference to the 1982 science-fiction movie Blade Runner.[3] In the film's continuity, the character Gaff had an affinity for creating folded paper figures, and created figures that were related to the mindset of the main character, Rick Deckard.
