- "Can't stand the smell of Parmarthen [sic] bantha stew, huh, Kaz? Well, get used to it. It's going to be around for days, with all these famous Parmarthen [sic] pilots on board for the 'All Aces.'"
- ―Z'Vk'Thkrkza, to Kazuda Xiono
Pamarthen bantha stew was a brown-colored stew enjoyed by Pamarthens,[1] individuals hailing from[2] the Outer Rim[3] planet Pamarthe.[2] In 34 ABY,[4] when multiple Pamarthens pilots traveled to the Colossus refueling platform, on[1] the Mid Rim Territories[3] planet Castilon, for the "All Aces Battle Royale" event, the Gilliand proprietor Z'Vk'Thkrkza "Aunt Z" made the stew in a large pot at her tavern. She stirred the stew between serving the stew to patrons.[1]
After Resistance spy Kazuda Xiono complained about the stew's smell, Aunt Z warned him it would be around for days to satisfy the Pamarthen visitors. She then served a bowl of Pamarthen bantha stew to another patron while boasting it was the best stew this side of their home planet and reminding them to tip the chef.[1]
Behind the scenes
Pamarthen bantha stew appeared in the lead story, "All Aces Battle Royale," of the sixteenth issue of the 2017 comic series Star Wars Adventures,[1] which was released on December 19, 2018.[5] The comic was published by IDW Publishing, written by Kevin Burke and Chris "Doc" Wyatt, and illustrated by Valentina Pinto. In the comic, the stew was erroneously spelled as "Parmarthen bantha stew,"[1] instead of the proper spelling of "Pamarthen."[2]
