Palee Ruda was a Human female[1] clubgoer[2] native to[1] the planet[3] Coruscant.[1] During a night[4] in 22 BBY,[5] she visited[4] the Outlander Club, a nightclub and gambling hall on Coruscant.[6] Ruda exited the club[4] accompanied by a Pacithhip escort[2] and the Kajain'sa'Nikto[4] Mois Parcon,[7] just as the bounty hunter Zam Wesell ran into the club from the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker after her assassination attempt on Senator Padmé Amidala.[4] She unwittingly missed[2] Wesell's arm being dismembered by Kenobi.[4]
Ruda had light skin and blonde hair.[1] She had a feminine first name of Human origin.[8] On that night,[4] Ruda, a poorly dressed individual,[3] wore an intimidating ensemble of white face makeup with painted on eyebrows, a breathable chainmail veil,[2] a top, and black pants.[4]
Behind the scenes
Palee Ruda first appeared in the 2002 prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[4] The Outlander Club exterior scenes, which included Ruda, were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney.[9] Prior to the film's release, she was first pictured[10] in January 2001[11] with the "Prequel Update" section of the fifty-first issue Star Wars Insider.[10] The character was first named in an image in the 2003 web article "Cantina Roll-Call: Shedding Light on Some Alien Aliases".[7]
