Palauka Cybernetics

Palauka Cybernetics, also referred to as simply Palauka, was a cybernetics company that manufactured implants and prosthetic limbs. During the ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, there were reports of malfunctioning Palauka implants and prosthetics, so the company shut down its production in order to investigate.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

By 3643 BBY,[2] an individual associated with one of the two sides in the ongoing struggle sent a companion of theirs to assist Palauka Cybernetics. The companion helped Palauka's technicians discover a software fault and subsequently wrote an entirely new software suite for them. As a result, Palauka was very generous to the companion.[1]

Behind the scenes

Palauka Cybernetics was mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "Extended Warranty" in the 2011 BioWare video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, though the information regarding the mission's outcome was later removed.[1]
