- "Where are they taking Palabee, mother?"
"Oh Nipaltoo…they are taking your sister very far away. To a new, better life. She's going to be a Jedi." - ―Nipaltoo and his mother
Palabee was a female individual who was the sister of Nipaltoo. At some point, Palabee was taken from her home by members of the Jedi Order to become a Jedi and to have a new and better life. In 19 BBY, Palabee was killed when Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine initiated Order 66, which resulted in the destruction of the Jedi Order. Nipaltoo watched a HoloNet broadcast of Palpatine saying that clone troopers had contained a Jedi insurrection within the Jedi Temple and that the troopers had quelled uprisings on a thousand worlds, something that left Nipaltoo in disbelief. Some time later, Nipaltoo came into contact with Padawan Ferren Barr, a survivor of Order 66, who claimed that Nipaltoo would find justice for Palabee's murder and that to achieve this he had to follow him.
Biography
Palabee was a Force-sensitive female who was taken from her homeworld by members of the Jedi Order at a young age to begin her training as a Jedi, offering her a new life among the Order's ranks.[1]
During the final days of the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, Palabee was killed when Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine issued Order 66, branding the Jedi as traitors to the Galactic Republic. The command forced clone troopers across the galaxy to turn on their Jedi Commanders, leading to the near-total annihilation of the Jedi Order. Palabee was among the many Jedi who perished during the ensuing purge, either within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant or elsewhere across the galaxy.[1]
In the aftermath, her brother Nipaltoo witnessed a HoloNet broadcast in which Palpatine declared that clone forces had successfully suppressed a "Jedi Rebellion" within the Temple and across a thousand worlds. Unable to comprehend the claim and devastated by his sister's death, Nipaltoo later came into contact with Padawan Ferren Barr, a survivor of Order 66. Barr told Nipaltoo that he could help bring justice for Palabee's murder and urged him to follow his cause against the newly formed Galactic Empire.[1]
