Ostar-Gal was a male Kel Dor Jedi Master serving the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the Great Galactic War and the ensuing Cold War with the resurgent Sith Empire.[1]
Biography
A Force-sensitive Kel Dor, Ostar-Gal was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order, eventually attaining the rank of Jedi Master. A noted Consular and Lore Keeper, Master Ostar-Gal was the Chief Librarian of the Jedi Archives which were maintained in the Jedi Temple on Tython. He was a friend of Master Yuon Par.[1]
Behind the scenes
Before its removal from the game, Master Ostar-Gal introduced the mission "Advanced Training: Jedi Consular" for Jedi Consular players who had just completed the planet Tython in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, where he directed players to their Advanced Class trainer, Master Dynaroth. Ostar-Gal could be found both on Coruscant in the Senate District and on Carrick Station. According to the game's conversation files, Ostar-Gal was originally Gnost-Dural, a character who appeared in the Galactic Timeline videos.[1]
