The Ossiki Confederacy was an organization on the planet Toydaria[1] in the intersection of Hutt Space and the Mid Rim.[2] It was one of several confederacies that fought over resources during the Toydarian seasonal wars. The leader of the Confederacy declared that stockpiles of food should be destroyed if the Confederacy could not claim it. As a result,[1] the Ossiki Confederacy Army became infamous for the use of chemical weapons to destroy food supplies.[3] The Toydarian Watto joined the Ossiki Confederacy Army during a war caused by drought. He was injured in the conflict[1] and by approximately 38 BBY,[4] had left the army after the war ended.[1]

The Ossiki Confederacy was first mentioned within the name of the Ossiki Confederacy Army in Watto's Databank entry on StarWars.com, published in 2001.[5] It was first specified to be a separate entity in the 2002 reference book The New Essential Guide to Characters by Daniel Wallace.[1]
