Oront was a city on the planet Elom.[1]
Many members of the Elom race were named after this city.[2] Tor'Oront, a mining colony on the planet Nyriaan, was named based on Oront after a con artist from Corporate Sector tricked a group of Elomin to settle there and forced them to mine for madilon without notifying the planetary government.[1]
