Oorn Tchis was an Outer Rim planet near Agamar.[1] It was a small, Human-inhabited rural world best known for exporting colorful fabrics and a rare ore used in guidance system design.[3][4]
On the eve of the Clone Wars, in 22 BBY, the entire Lahara sector joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems, bringing with it the planets Agamar and Oorn Tchis, as well as the Mirgoshir hyperspace crossroads.[6] With the rise of the Galactic Empire, the sector submitted to the new government. Keyan Farlander sent his sister to Oorn Tchis to live with relatives after their family lost their home on Agamar.[3]
