"One Up" is the second episode of the animated shorts series Star Wars Blips. It was released on June 13, 2017 on the Star Wars YouTube channel[1]

Plot summary

The episode opens with BB-8 bumping into a stationary R2-D2. The two droids strike a conversation in Galactic Basic Standard. BB-8 demonstrates his ability to move like a ball while R2-D2 demonstrates his ability to rotate with his roller legs. BB-8 then demonstrates his ability to fire grappling cables. In response, R2-D2 demonstrates his rocket boosters.

Seeking to best R2-D2, BB-8 demonstrates his ability to detach his head from the rest of his spherical body. R2-D2 responds by displaying his electro-shock prod, which is bigger than BB-8's one.
