Ondaran willek juice was an intoxicating alcoholic juice[3] that originated in[2] the Ondara system, a part of the Lantillian sector[1] in the Kashyyyk Region of[4] the Mid Rim.[1] Jolee Bindo, a Human former Jedi Padawan and smuggler who became a hermit after crashlanding on[3] the Mytaranor sector[4] planet Kashyyyk[3] around 3976 BBY,[5] was familiar with the beverage.[3]
Behind the scenes
- "Elusive? Me, elusive? Heh. Obviously you've never tried to grab a Twi'lek dancing girl after drinking too much Ondaran willek juice."
- ―Jolee Bindo, in a possible conversation that the player character, Revan, can have in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Ondaran willek juice was introduced in the 2003 BioWare video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. In the game, the beverage can be mentioned in one version of an optional conversation the player character, Revan, can have with Jolee Bindo. In the dialogue, Revan can question Bindo's perceived elusivity in talking about his motives for joining the former's travels through the galaxy. In response, the amused Bindo states that Revan's choice of words implies that they "obviously" have not at any point consumed an excessive amount of Ondaran willek juice and subsequently attempted to grab a Twi'lek dancing girl.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Ondaran willek juice in relation to the Ondara system.
