After the collapse of the Separatist Alliance[1] in 19 BBY,[3] holdouts were formed by Separatist forces on the planet Olkrastrus IV which had retreated into the wilderness when the civilian leadership ceded their power to the emergent Galactic Empire. Fighting against the Empire's presence on the planet, these forces were scattered groups guerrilla units to armies, the main fighting force hid in a network of canyons, attempting to bring their factories online again. Bana Rhuus, a former sector chief for the Separatist Intelligence, hid away with a smaller group based in a valley deep into the Spiral Forest.[1]
