Bana Rhuus was a Koorivar male who was a member of Separatist Intelligence for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Once the war ended, the usage of a body double made it appear as if the Koorivar had switched sides while the real Rhuus went into hiding alongside other Separatist forces that continued to fight on Olkrastrus IV. Senator Bail Prestor Organa paid Rhuus a visit on Olkrastrus IV in an investigation conducted by senator, along with being accompanied by an aide, the Heptooinian Haki Zeophrine. Zeophrine, who despised Rhuus, later killed the Koorivar in the Spiral Forest.[2]

Therefore, the events of Edge of the Abyss must be set in 6 BBY, and the events of The Mask of Fear in 19 BBY.
