Old Granny was the oldest tree in a neighbourhood on the planet Devalok. Its branches were the lowest to the ground, so all the children in the neighbourhood learned to climb on Old Granny. When Devalok was invaded by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, Old Granny was ripped up and destroyed. Zohra, a resident of the neighbourhood, saw the tree's remains after she and her brother Dumuz were rescued from a battle droid patrol by Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.[1]
