- "The Baragwins' native planet is unknown, even to the Baragwins themselves. Colonies of these aliens have been moving about the galaxy for so long that their ancient history has been shrouded in myth, and they have a difficult time separating fact from fiction. Instead, Baragwins consider themselves native to the planet on which they were born."
- ―The first draft of The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life
Old Barag[3] was a planet[5] located in the Old Barag system of the Epsi Collective, within the galaxy's Expansion Region.[1] In the year 11,591 BBY, the Baragwin homeworld was attacked by the Pius Dea Republic during the Fifteenth Pius Dea Crusade.[3] By the publication of The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life's first draft[4] in 0 BBY,[6] Old Barag had long since been forgotten, even by the Baragwin themselves.[5]
Behind the scenes
Old Barag was first mentioned without identification in Galaxy Guide 12: Aliens — Enemies and Allies, a 1995 Star Wars Legends supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[4]
