Of Minds, Men, and Machines was a book by the great Pre-Republic philosopher Plaristes discussing droid sentience. The book reached the conclusion that droids were not true sentients since all their feelings and thought were preprogrammed or indirectly the result of programming.
It was referred to in the Jedi Knight Tam Azur-Jamin's treatise Droids, Technology and the Force: A Clash of Phenomena.
