Nye was a clone trooper who fought in the Skirmish at Dinlo.[2]

During the fight, he sustained minor injuries including a shrapnel wound to the head. While waiting his turn in the triage line, he was approached by Jedi General Etain Tur-Mukan, who gave Nye a heartfelt apology over the Republic's indifference to the welfare of the clone troopers. She also gave him a water bottle for his efforts.[2]
