Nyche was a human female from the planet Daiyu[1] who was the mother of Corran, a Force-sensitive boy.[2] In 9 BBY,[3] Nyche and Corran resided on her homeworld. Wanting to escape Daiyu, mother and son turned to Haja Estree, a con artist pretending to be a Jedi, who agreed to assist the pair in exchange for payment.[2]

Corran's mother first appeared in "Part II" of Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi,[2] which released on May 26, 2022.[5] In it, she was portrayed by Marisé Álvarez, who said the character was named Nyche.[4] This name was confirmed in the 2024 reference book Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy.[1]
