A Nutrient pack was a type of ration that contained a combination of essential minerals and enzymes for a Melitto. The nutrients also helped keep the carapace of a Melitto shiny.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] a member of the Ashiga Clan hired the scoundrel Kay Vess to deliver nutrient packs to and pick up intelligence reports from two of the clans scouts on the moon Toshara and planet Akiva, both located in the Outer Rim Territories.[1]
Nutrient packs could also be given to creatures such as porgs.[3]
Behind the scenes
Nutrient packs first appeared in Star Wars: Cargo Bay,[3] an immersive children's experience on Disney Cruise Line's Disney Wish ship in the summer of 2022.[4] They also featured as a quest item in the "Ashiga Scouts" quest in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws which was developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
