The Nurosk Plague was bioengineered by Olon, a Rodian of the Chattza Clan. Predominantly an airborne infection, the plague had other ways of spreading, and could affect many species that breathed oxygen, Rodians and Humans among them. Initial symptoms included coughing, headache, and fever, while later progressing to skin discoloration, troubled breathing, wheezing, anger, and paranoia. Eventually, the plague caused blood in the respiratory tract and mouth, loss of consciousness after exertion, delirium, and death if untreated.[1]
Symptoms increased in severity over two days and remained for several more. Resultant causes of death included respiratory failure or exhaustion.[1]
