A nuclear weapon was a device that caused widespread destruction and left behind large concentrations of radiation. Brendol Hux hypothesized that a nuclear weapon's detonation could be responsible for the "poisoning" of the dead lands on Parnassos, although he was unsure whether the detonation had been the result of deliberate usage or a factory accident for nuclear weapon production.[1]
