Nintendo, along with its American branch Nintendo of America, is a video game and entertainment company. Their activities includes the conception and manufacturing of various game consoles,[1] for which various Star Wars video games have been released, such as the NES,[3] Game Boy,[4] SNES,[5] Nintendo 64,[6] Game Boy Color,[7] Game Boy Advance,[8] GameCube,[9] DS,[10] Wii,[11] 3DS,[12] Wii U,[13] and Switch,[14]. They also directly published several Star Wars video games for the Nintendo 64: Shadows of the Empire,[6] Rogue Squadron[15] and Episode I Racer.[16]
Additionally, they also published several printed guides through their official magazine Nintendo Power: Star Wars: Rogue Squadron: The Official Nintendo Player's Guide,[2] Star Wars: Episode I Racer Official Nintendo Player's Guide,[17] Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader: The Official Nintendo Player's Guide,[18] and Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike: The Official Nintendo Player's Guide.[19]
