Nina Gold served as a UK casting director for the films Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker as well as the Disney+ series Star Wars: Andor and Star Wars: The Acolyte.
Gold is married to Frank Hewetson, a Greenpeace activist who was imprisoned in Russia in 2013 for protesting Russian oil drilling in the Arctic Ocean. The couple have two children, Nell and Joe.[1] Their son, Joe Hewetson,[2] plays a Resistance officer in Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.
