- "Without the Teedos the Sitter would have died a long time ago. They bring him spinebarrel flesh, nightblossom rind, and water, but as far as I know he never talks to them, either."
- ―Rey mentions nightblossom rind in her survival guide
Nightblossom was a type of fruit found on the desert planet Jakku. Members of the Teedo species brought nightblossom rind, spinebarrel[1] and thwip[2] flesh, and water to the human known as the Sitter[1] as offerings,[3] keeping him alive while he sat atop a pillar in the Goazon Badlands of Jakku each day.[1] By 34 ABY,[4] the scavenger Rey mentioned nightblossoms when writing about the Sitter in[1] her[2] survival guide.[1]
Behind the scenes
Nightblossom was mentioned in Rey's Survival Guide, a 2015 replica journal written by Jason Fry.[1]
