Nexcore Mining Corporation was a mining company headquartered on the planet of Velusia. Nexcore reached the height of its success during the final years of the Galactic Republic. The company built a spaceport inside Mount Hollow and began an illegal mining venture in the oceans of the planet. Nexcore hoped to mine as much ore as possible before being discovered. Unfortunately, the illegal monopoly on Velusia's ore was discovered, and Nexcore was forced to shut down a majority of its operations.[1]
