The New Republic Survey Corps was the deep space exploratory service of Combined Defense Forces of the New Republic whose duty was the exploration of the galaxy on behalf of the New Republic.
It essentially filled the role of the Old Republic's Republic Survey Corps, which had been replaced by the Imperial Survey Corps.
