The New Republic Diplomatic Corps was a diplomatic body within the New Republic. The protocol droid C-3PO was a member of Senator Leia Organa's staff that served as an envoy to the Corps at some point between 4 ABY and 28 ABY,[2] C-3PO informed the New Republic pilot Jaxxon T. Tumperakki of this fact when he complained about having to transport the droid on a diplomatic mission to help end an Ewok Civil War on the moon Endor.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the New Republic Diplomatic Corps was mentioned in Hyperspace Stories Annual—Jaxxon 2023, a comic book written by Cavan Scott[1] and first released on April 7, 2023.[3] The corps originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Barbara Hambly's 1995 novel Children of the Jedi.[4]
