The New Heurkea system was a star system located in Mon Calamari Space in the Slice portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It lay between the Mantan and Sanctuary systems on the Prously's Rim Run hyperlane.[1] The system shared its name with Heurkea, a city on the planet Mon Calamari.[2]

Behind the scenes

The New Heurkea system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book co-authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square U-6.[1]
