Neon woolly caterpillars were a type of caterpillar. During the High Republic Era, the Hutt Churo kept neon woolly caterpillars in his greenhouse laboratory in his family's palace on the planet Nal Hutta.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] while Churo's sister Dahara Devirsivik Norri was speaking with him in his laboratory, Churo looked at his neon woolly caterpillars, which were getting ready to spin cocoons.[1]

Neon woolly caterpillars appeared in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
