The Neoclassical period was a cultural movement that arose inside the Galactic Empire in which music such as the Harbin-re opera, ganther dances and waltzes by Nabicci Futana, and Clone Wars-era marches were composed. The Imperial Symphony Orchestra was scheduled to play such pieces during its Mid Rim tour starting in 0 ABY. Emperor Palpatine favored neoclassical music.
