The Koobi system, also known as the Nelvaan system, was a star system located in the Savareen sector of the Outer Rim Territories. It contained the world of Nelvaan, home to the Nelvaanian species.
Behind the scenes
The Koobi system was given its first mention in the Star Wars Legends continuity in.the 2005 novel Labyrinth of Evil written by James Luceno. While referred to as the Nelvaan system in that source, the StarWars.com Databank's entry on the Nelvaanian species refers to it as the Koobi system. Varying sources have since used both names.
