A unit of pilots, the Nebula Raiders were active during the Clone Wars,[1] fought from 22 BBY to 19 BBY.[2] Siding with the Confederacy of Independent Systems under their naval forces, the pilots were equipped with gun tugs and Z-95 Headhunters. The Nebula Raiders became a constant source of problems for the Galactic Republic, raiding supply convoys with their gun tugs and starfighters.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Nebula Raiders were introduced in the current Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Nebula Raiders were first mentioned in Starships of the Galaxy, a 2001 reference book authored by Owen K.C. Stephens for Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[3]
