The Natalon Core Bandits were a ruthless group of alien pirates active during the early years of the Galactic Empire.[3]

Han Solo and Chewbacca were once raided by eight of the Natalon Core Bandits while carrying a load of Barcarian claw salt. Though Chewbacca was able to disable three of them, the raiders were able to substantially damage the ship, shackle the two smugglers in the salvage hold, and destroy the ship's life support relays. Chewbacca broke his wrist to free himself from the shackles, repaired the relays, and flew the damaged ship to a space station.[3]
