Nar Chan was a Twi'lek Dreamdancer who lived at the Poloda Place apartment complex on the Galactic Republic capital planet Coruscant[1] by 38 BBY.[2] While there, Chan held unruly bacchanal events inside its court, each of which lasted for a week's time.[1] By 18 BBY,[2] these events were still viewed as infamous, and many considered Chan to be very immoral and decadent.[1] That year,[2] the Sullustan reporter Den Dhur thought about Chan and her bacchanals while he was in Poloda Place, remembering the artistic individuals who had lived there due to its perceived safety, spacious living areas, and low rent.[1]
