Nanoexplosives were a small type of demolitions technology. As a response by the Galactic Empire to the campaigns of Saw Gerrera's Partisans, the Imperials at one point sent Gerrera an astromech droid with nanoexplosives, killing four Partisans and wounding Gerrera in the process.[1]
Behind the scenes
Nanoexplosives were first mentioned in the novel Guardians of the Whills, which was written by Greg Rucka and released in 2017.[1]
