Nallera's Mining Field was a region of space in the Tatoo system.[2] It contained an asteroid field that was discovered and mined during the Galactic Civil War.[1]

History

Stemming from the system's outermost reaches, Nallera's Mining Field remained one of Tatooine's oldest mining outposts. Nallera's Mining Field was far enough from the Hutts' influence, but close enough to Tatooine's space station to encourage trade and ship goods to the planet. The inhabitants of Nallera's Mining Field were friendly and welcomed travelers to their outpost.[2]

During the Galactic Civil War, the area was mined by a mining crew led by A'Lerris Verata, despite the attacks of the Zynt'aia pirates.[1]

Behind the scenes

Nallera's Mining Field appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[2] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] Nallera's Mining Field was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.[2]
