A NL-02 charge emitter was a component used to make an electro-shock prod.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] the Galactic Empire had stored a charge emitter at their Excavation Site 12 on an island in Lake Amari on Akiva, a jungle planet in the Outer Rim Territories.[1]

In 3 ABY,[2] the scoundrel Kay Vess heard about the charge emitter at the Empire's camp. She later stole the device from the camp and used it to construct an electro-shock prod.[1]

Behind the scenes

NL-02 charge emitter appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. The player must obtain the charge emitter in order to unlock the electro-shock prod item which they can use to perform take downs on droids and gamorrean guards.[1]
