The Murrows Pits were a location where a type of weapon known as gladiators' paws could be found.[1] By around 34 ABY,[2] the Ren prospect Itai had obtained gladiators' paws from the Murrows Pits in a victory.[1] Around that year,[2] Itai reflected that each of his weapons, including his gladiators' paws from the Murrows Pits, were testimonies to his past victories, but that he still lacked strength in the dark side of the Force.[1]

The Murrows Pits were mentioned in the first volume of the manga series Star Wars: Path of the Lightsaber, written by Kenny Ruiz and published by Viz Media on November 11, 2025.[3]
