Muftari bread was a type of bread that could be served spiced and salted. While on the Outer Rim planet Akiva[1] in 4 ABY,[2] the bounty hunter Jas Emari watched the world's satrap Isstra Dirus reverently greet the Imperial moneylender Arsin Crassus. Emari felt Dirus's behavior was placating due to Crassus's illicit funding of Akiva's satrapy, contemplating that the satrap knew "which side of his muftari bread is spiced and salted."[1]
Behind the scenes
Muftari bread was mentioned in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
