Mount Hollow was the largest city and capital of Velusia. It is also the location of the planet's only starport. Nexcore Mining Corporation (NMC) established the city in the shaft of an extinct volcano as their base of operations. Mount Hollow was divided into four strata, with six turbolifts providing access to the levels along with catwalks and ladders. The top levels comprise the starport, with four durasteel landing pads, a service area, and storage facilities. The levels beneath the starport contain hotels, cantinas, gambling halls, holovid theaters as well as a shopping promenade overlooking the shaft. The middle levels have living quarters and offices for NMC employees carved into the volcano walls. The lower levels were originally designed to house the thousands of Aquar miners and manual laborers, but the financial issues of NMC have caused it to become a seedy location used by the unemployed, crime lords, thugs and other scoundrels. The bottom level is a polluted pool of water from rainfall that is filtrated and purified to be pumped up to the upper levels. [1]
