The Mountain Clan was a witch clan operating in the mountains of[1] the Outer Rim Territories[2] planet Dathomir during the Clone Wars. At the time of the massacre of the Nightsisters by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the clan was led by a matron who harbored the orphaned Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth.[1]

The Mountain Clan followed a more non-violent and non-confrontational path than the Nightsisters. They practiced not seeking out their enemies, and only fought when required to defend themselves. Unlike the Nightsisters, the Mountain Clan did not worship or use the Dark side of the Force.[1]
