The Mos Eisley Mod Parlor was a mod parlor located on the outskirts of Mos Eisley,[2] a spaceport on the desert planet of Tatooine.[3] The mod parlor was owned by The Modifier, who was an artisan when it came to cybernetic augmentation. He engineered customized additions and enhancements to anyone with money.[4] The archway over the entrance featured a hand painted krayt dragon skeleton, whose ribs formed the word "MODIFIER" written in Outer Rim Basic. Above that, the name "MER-A PLA", written in Aurebesh, was carved into the top of the archway. The Mods often came to the mod parlor to replace their cybernetic components.[2] In 9 ABY,[5] Boba Fett brought Fennec Shand to the parlor to save her from dying[1] after the rookie bounty hunter Toro Calican shot her in the abdomen.[6]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of "Chapter 1: The Mandalorian" and "Chapter 16: The Rescue" to 9 ABY. The events of Chapters 1 through 16 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian must therefore also take place in 9 ABY. The flashback in Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm takes place shortly after the events of Chapter 5: The Gunslinger, so the flashback must take place around 9 ABY
