- "My airspeeder might be built like a dung beetle, but it could survive an acid storm on Mordis VI."
- ―Zam Wesell
Mordis VI was a terrestrial astronomical object[3] located in the Mordis system, a part of the Lambda sector[1] in the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Mid Rim.[1] Acid storms were a weather phenomenon that occurred on Mordis VI's surface. The bounty hunter Zam Wesell once claimed that, due to it being designed for operation on wasteland worlds with thin, low-oxygen, or corrosive atmospheres, her stolen Koro-2 all-environment exodrive airspeeder could withstand the effects of an acid storm on Mordis VI.[3]
Behind the scenes
Mordis VI was mentioned in the 2003 reference book The New Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, which was authored by W. Haden Blackman.[3] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas later placed the Mordis system, and therefore Mordis VI, in grid square P-16.[1]
