Monsoon baffles were a type of technology that presumably mitigated storm systems. While on Rishi, the Hero of Tython encountered the Force spirit of Orgus Din. Din asked the Hero to do some things for a town near his childhood home in order to bring him peace. One of those tasks included repairing the town's monsoon baffles that had been damaged as the storm season was arriving.
