A monocle was a single round lens for correcting defective vision in one eye and that was kept in position by facial muscles. Thanoth, a male human who served as an inspector with the Galactic Empire, wore a monocle on the left eye.[4] Old Jho, an Ithorian who operated Old Jho's Pit Stop on Lothal, used a pair of monocles when he needed to read.[1] Gorga the Hutt wore a similar type of monocle while he served on the Grand Hutt Council.[5]
Antrot wore a powered monocle during Operation Yellow Moon.[2]
