Monne was a human commander who served as a pilot for the Galactic Empire, serving on the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station during its construction over the forest moon Endor. On Life Day one year, Monne took two of his TIE pilots on a standard sweep of the system. The commander was frustrated by pilots Rode and Gatt's inability to stay focused during the patrol; the two pilots kept teasing each other about the Wild Squadron. Before long, Gatt became panicked by a vision of the Wild Squadron, leading her to collide with Monne, exploding both of their ships[2]
